BEER OF THE MONTH
-
Notes from The Bruery:
This is a rosé - and a gose - by any other name.
Goses are Red is a stylish, crisp, and tart gose-style ale inspired by the soft sweetness of a rosé wine.Satisfyingly complex, this refreshing wheat-based ale has hints of coriander spicing and a light saltiness to complement the soft tartness.
The addition of Syrah grapes impart a refreshing character and color.
Wine OF THE MONTH
-
Notes from Mark and Alicia: Savagnin grown on deep sand. A wild place. All direct pressed to barrel for fermentation, followed by a year of rest. A further 8 months in tank before bottling in September 2022.
Linear and salty, rich and voluminous in the right places with great length.
Juxtaposed, but so correct.
While this wine cold and fresh with oysters is a treat, I think you’d do it a disservice not to open it and take as long as you can - it has a lot to offer. This wine is not a tribute.
Spirit OF THE MONTH
-
A Little Things family favourite and a perpetual sellout, this limited release is lighter in colour, zestier in flavour and makes for versatile drinking.
Fresh, locally-harvested blood oranges deliver a supercharged burst of citrus, rounded out by the flavours of botanicals cassia bark, star anise and pepper berry.
It’s a warm weather treat that can enliven a G&T or take the lead in a cocktail. It’s designed to refresh you throughout the summer heat waves or windless evenings.
